Yep if you like surfing fun overhead+ surf in warm water for weeks on end…then it might be time to plan a trip down to your favorite spot in Southern Mex, or even a warmer break if Central America is more your style.

Holy bannana and grapefruits… the juice is on the way. Plenty of S-SSW in the forecast

A nice little mix of SSW-SW (200-220) filling in right now should mean some fun moderate sized surf, maybe even some plus size sets through the weekend. Then we get to the good stuff. A series of larger SSW swells are going to rock next weeks socks off. The first arrives Sunday… and then we’re looking at solid surf for awhile.

More SPAC swell rolls in through the week, keeping overhead waves going through the next few days and over the weekend.

More SPAC swell from both the S and the SW will arrive over the next week keeping head high and overhead+ surf showing at the well exposed spots. More swell still showing in the long-range charts.

S-SSW mix through the weekend should mean plenty of surf, followed by a forecast of more long period swell

That complex low we’ve been talking about for the past week or so, has set up us up with a series of mix matched S-SSW swells that should be overlapping through the weekend and early next week. Then the long-range models are setting up for another strong run of more SSW-SW swell through the middle of the month.

Forecast charts say “the hits just keep on coming!”
By on May 1, 2012 @ 7:35 pm

A big old fat complex low-pressure sat right in the S-SSW swell window churning out storm after storm, with the fetch aimed directly toward Mainland Mexico and Central America, expect plenty of waves for the next couple of weeks.

The forecast is looking up and up through the next week with plenty of swell on the way as well as Honey Badgers

The swell just keeps on coming, with new pulses filling in today and Saturday, then building even bigger by Sunday-Monday. The trend is basically upwards through the weekend. The swells are in the water… and should be arriving shortly. The long-range forecast talks a lot about a viscous small mammal and its offspring, don’t worry, its for your own good.

Forecast for Mexico and Central America doesn’t get much better than this
By on @ 10:14 am

An increasingly active storm track will have even more S-SW pulses steamrolling right over top each other as we move through the weekend and next week. Long-range charts have even more on the way.

The forecast looks consistently moderate for about a week… then it looks consistently big for longer than a week
By on April 20, 2012 @ 11:17 am

The near term situation shows a mix of small to moderate swells bringing plenty of fun surf to the region, but then the Southern Pacific turns things up to volume 11 and plays the longest solo ever. Moderate to large surf for the end of the month lasting through the beginning of April.

Solid overlapping S-SW swells forecast to have some good sized surf through the week.

South Pacific stays lively enough to keep overlapping swells on tap through most of April
Swell picks up over the weekend and then the forecast is calling for consistent surf through next week and the following weekend

The forecast is showing signs of life, and size should pick up this weekend a series of SSW swells start to march towards the coast. Size should be moderate through the next week.
