Thursday’s forecast is showing a boost in WNW-NW swell and a touch of Sir Edward starting to creep into a few areas.
By on February 22, 2012 @ 5:49 pm

Thursday is a little peppier surfwise, a little more size and more consistency across more breaks…but the morning conditions won’t be quiet as clean as they have been the last couple of days.

Wednesday starts with a high tide and swampy leftovers but a new shot of swell is forecast to arrive through the evening.
By on February 21, 2012 @ 6:24 pm

Wednesday’s forecast is showing some rideable surf at select spots, but the still fading swell mix will continue to get smaller and may not be able to get much past the morning tide.

Forecast for Tuesday…fun but fading NW swell and clean conditions
By on February 20, 2012 @ 11:03 pm

Tuesday will be surfable, the winds start off clean and with high-pressure building over the area it looks like the cleaner shape will stick around longer than an average day.

Monday’s Forecast is showing clean morning winds, some partially cloudy skies, and some fun but slowly fading mix of WNW-NW swell.
By on February 19, 2012 @ 9:19 pm

With the front blowing through faster on Sunday it looks like Monday has a better shot at being a surf day with a mix of WNW-NW swell holding through the morning and decent winds to go along with it.

Sunday’s Forecast has a Cold front moving through the area setting up some unsettled surf conditions but possibly leaving a rideable pocket or two
By on February 18, 2012 @ 5:22 pm

Sunday is looking a bit funkadelic, even potentially sloppy in some areas, thanks to a cold front that is forecast to drop through Socal late Saturday and into early Sunday morning. At the same time the models have been downgrading the strength of the storm and there may be a few windows of rideable shape at the more protected areas.

Forecast for Saturday has some fog, a little eddy, and some building WNW-NW energy along with some background S-SW swell.
By on February 17, 2012 @ 8:02 pm

The forecast is showing that the weather is conspiring against us on Saturday…what should have been a fairly clean morning is now showing an increasing chance for eddy conditions in some areas and chance for some texture/funk at the unlucky breaks.

Friday’s Forecast showing some still gusty N winds but playful surf at the better positioned breaks
By on February 16, 2012 @ 7:03 pm

Friday will be another surf day with clean morning conditions and playful sized surf for most of the WNW-NW facing beaches and a few of the better exposed combo spots.

Forecast for Thursday is calling for warmer air temps, stronger offshore winds and a touch more groomed up WNW swell.
By on February 15, 2012 @ 6:00 pm

The weather is forecast to shift to much more favorable conditions on Thursday…setting up offshore winds, strong offshores in some areas, to go along with a mix of WNW-NW swell and some background Southern Hemi energy.

Wednesday’s forecast is calling for cleaner conditions and overlapping but slightly smaller WNW-NW swells.
By on February 14, 2012 @ 2:56 pm

Wednesday looks like it will be a surf day with cleaner conditions, a few clouds-drizzle scattered about the region and a few overlapping W-NW swells that will keep things going as we move through midweek.

Strong onshore winds forecast to continue through most of Tuesday.
By on February 13, 2012 @ 9:56 pm

Based on today’s forecast it looks like Tuesday is going to be pretty sloppy. Another cold front is set to drop down the coast and keep up our local winds fired up.

Storm Forecast to move in on Monday but still a chance for some lighter winds in the morning.
By on February 12, 2012 @ 10:28 pm

Another cold front is forecast to move down the coast tonight and show up with cloudy skies, some drizzle, and eventually some sloppy conditions on Monday.

Sunday’s forecast has a chance at surfable shape at the protected spots, but onshore winds will come on pretty fast.
By on February 11, 2012 @ 6:17 pm

Sunday will have more of a surf window through the morning, unfortunately the front that moved through on Saturday has the weather pretty destabilized, so a morning camera check might help save some frustration.
