Friday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Conditions clean up but the swell starts to trail off
By on October 20, 2011 @ 5:49 pm

Friday will be another clean day with small/weak surf for most of the average/below average exposed spots and some rideable lines at the top exposed spots.

Thursday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Slightly better surf with conditions starting to improve.
By on October 19, 2011 @ 3:53 pm

The overcast skies stick around on Thursday but winds start to shift to a little more S-SE direction and help clean up a few of the better positioned breaks. The surf will be rideable but on the smaller side.

Wednesday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Smaller surf and even cooler weather.
By on October 18, 2011 @ 7:23 pm

Wednesday will be an even more marginal surf day than Tuesday…the swell will have backed off a bit more while a weak cold front is forecast to slip over southern California sending in more clouds and maybe even some light drizzle.

Tuesday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – More patchy fog and fading swell
By on October 17, 2011 @ 5:53 pm

Tuesday looks like a rideable but sort of marginal surf day. The weather, tide, and the winds don’t really seem to want to cooperate but we still manage to have enough swell to keep some small peaks showing at the best spots.

Monday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Weather warms back up while the swell slowly fades.
By on October 16, 2011 @ 8:31 pm

Monday will be rideable while the overall swell mix will be backing down…fortunately the weather get even better than Sunday and clean conditions slip back in and should help make an average surf day to a slightly better one.

Sunday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Cool weekend weather continues
By on October 15, 2011 @ 2:35 pm

Sunday will be rideable at a few spots but the weather and winds look like they could be an issue.

Saturday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Chilly fog, funky winds, and slowly fading, but still rideable swell mix
By on October 14, 2011 @ 2:01 pm

Saturday will be rideable, particularly for the morning, but if you are looking for sunny skies, consistent offshore flow, and pristine combo barrels you may have missed the boat.

Friday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Friday Funday…combo swell and clean conditions
By on October 13, 2011 @ 5:03 pm

While we still have to watch out for the tides…both the swell and the morning/midday weather will be helping us out. Combo swell looks pretty fun…and if you can find a break that pulls in the mix of swells you will have a good chance of getting some decent surf.

Thursday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – New Combo Swell Fills in
By on October 12, 2011 @ 2:08 pm

The surf will improve on Thursday as two new swells arrive and help to increase size at both the NW and SW exposed breaks.

Wednesday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Smaller surf stays rideable but just barely…
By on October 11, 2011 @ 3:55 pm

The tropical swell will be mostly on the way out on Wednesday while the SW and NW background swells hold in place…so the surf will be smaller but not completely flat.

Tuesday’s Surf Forecast for Southern California – Clean conditions, tropical swell (possibly fading), and some background SW/NW combo
By on October 10, 2011 @ 6:30 pm

Tuesday looks surfable but since most of our waves will be coming from the tropical swell expect some funky shape and random spots to be more consistent and more surfable than others.

Southern California Long Range Surf Forecast – A shot of tropical swell helps out the surf for a day or two…then more SW and WNW energy fill in through the second half of the week.
By on @ 5:59 pm

Weather stays nice while the surf gets sort of fluky through the beginning of the week. More consistent swell hits the second half of the week and bigger waves line up for the weekend.
